When people say lamb is gamey it's because they don't know how to cook it. The lamb here was not gamey at all and I mean 0% gamey. Hands down the best lamb I have ever had in any restaurant. A very smooth flavor which I could easily eat once a week. I give them a salute on this dish in particular. I know some people intentionally cook lamb gamey... but that's really not my style. This is upper echelon.
amazing. I wasn't too sure about this place, then I placed my order and was surprised by how amazing everything was. We ordered the beef/lamb shawarma fries, lamb shank, grill plate and cardomn tea. They had a halal sign~
The Greek fries are AMAZING and very FLAVORFUL!!! I'm definitely coming back! The cooks are very friendly and the food was excellent and well cooked. The women cashier was a bit forgetful and I had to wait 20 minutes for my order. But overall the food was really good :3
Delicious Lamb shank and Mansaf (served weekends ) !! This place has been the go to for us for delicious and authentic flavours and great portion sizes! The owner, she is so nice and always greets everyone with a smile and so flexible with taking any customisations. Amazing place and I’m glad they are in Redmond of all places!
I got the gyro on fries and it was so delicious. The restaurant was also super clean and the owner/staff were very nice. Definitely check this place out if you want some good Mediterranean in Redmond.
This place is amazing. Superb food quality, portion sizes, service, and cleanliness. Food tasted fresh and delicious. The lady who is probably the owner was sweet and attentive. Give them a try. You won’t regret it.
New favorite Mediterranean place?! The woman at the register was so friendly and lovely. The food came out quickly. The atmosphere in the restaurant is pretty utilitarian- a kitchen, a space, a bunch of tables. But the FOOD. The Greek fries were salty, umami, funky…ugh. So good. The beef and lamb gyro plate was probably the best I’ve had?? Yummy yellow rice, really tasty tsatsiki, super smooth hummus, and tons of meat. One plate and one order of fries was more than my husband and I could finish, but we got close. We will be back!
My boyfriend and I started coming here about a year ago and have been hooked ever since. The first time we came here we each got one of their plates, and that was amazing. We happened to see someone order a plate of their gyro fries and the next time we came in we ordered that and now we come here about once a month for their gyro fries. The flavors are so good and one plate fills both my boyfriend and I up. We do get extra chicken every time so I’m sure that helps haha! Everyone who works there that we’ve encountered are extremely nice and the person who I’m pretty sure owns the place is frequently in there working side by side. They are all lovely people and I’d definitely be sad if any of them left because it seems that they put a lot of care into making amazing food and they are so kind. They actually know our order now because we come and get the fries every time but one of these days we do want to try other dishes too, but the gyro fries are just so good and we are creatures of habit. The owner (I think he’s the owner) came over today and thanked us for our business which I thought was really sweet. He also gave us a dessert to try and I’m not sure what it’s called but it’s delicious so far! I took a bite to try it but we are still too full to eat the whole thing right now. It has a delicious cinnamon flavor though and it’s probable that we will order it at some point one of the next times we go in🤣 We just love this place. 10/10 would recommend and I do recommend this to my friends who live in the area.
Very good lamb wrap and the service was great. Highly recommend going to Sahara for a quick and easy lunch. I’m from Florida and I felt at home with the music playing. Looking forward to trying different things as well the menu has tons of options.
Best falafel I've had in the area, and the waitress was nice enough to come over to our table and give me an extra cup of hummus for free without being asked. I'll definitely be back here!
